Chairs
Chairs are the people in charge of a UN committee session. They become important to the committee as they can elevate a monotonous debate to an entertaining, enriching and all-compassing activity.
Responsibilities:

Write the study guides for their allocated committee within the deadlines and structure recommended by the Secretariat.

Correct all position papers for plagiarism and other necessary parameters.

Motivate and support the delegates with positive feedback before and during the conference.

Be knowledgeable of the rules of procedure.

Conduct the committee in a fair and professional manner while manage the speaking time and order through the committee session

Be neutral towards any institution and/or delegates through the conference

Act as judges for deciding which delegates deserve to be awarded.
* Chairs are provided meals and accommodation throughout the conference and are free to join any and all socials.
